Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. AMP
There is a good life that God has prepared for us live, he prearranged it before the foundation of the world, Jesus came to tell us about the good life and how to attain it, He equally left His Holy spirit to guide us and lead us in the way we should go. Psalm 32: 8 says I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go and I will guide you with my eyes. This only reminds me of one thing, ask me what? ‘A Navigator’ you enter in where you are and where you intend to be and he guides you all the way. So I call him, HOLY SPIRIT MY NAVIGATOR.
He knows where I am meant to be, so he comes to direct my path so I can arrive at the destination. He is able to lead me because He was there when my future was decided in the beginning, for He is the spirit of God, He is God and He is Jesus. No wonder He said in John 14:3 that I go to prepare a place for you and thereafter I will come back to take you there( paraphrased). Wa oo! Isn’t this awesome? He is indeed the way to the truth that will lead to the desired life, he is MY NAVIGATOR.
The greatest tragedy that can befall an army at war is to lose connection with the headquarters. Such army will not know when to retreat or surrender, will not know when to change strategy or when to expect re-enforcement or supplies. We are soldiers here on earth according to 2Timothy 2:3 and we need to constantly be in touch with the base station. We do not belong here our citizenship is in heaven and we need to be in constant communication with heaven so as to know what to do per time. This is exactly what the Holy Spirit has come to do in our lives, He connects us with Heaven, link us up with where we came from, receives information, instructions and change in strategies from the base and transmits it to us. Matthew 16: 13 says he will speak to you what he hears heaven speaks and tells us what has been decreed in heaven. Through him there is a constant flow of information from heaven and that’s why I call Him ‘HOLY SPIRIT MY CONNECTOR’
Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Every time I open my mouth to pray in the Holy Ghost, I build myself. Building connotes laying bricks on a foundation until it becomes a house or mending a fault in an already existing building. What do I build then? My faith of course, so as I pray in the spirit, my spirit is edified my faith level increases, my confidence is boosted and my trust in God becomes unshakable. As vaccination builds up the body’s immune system so thus praying in the spirit builds up my immunity against sin. It builds in me the awareness and consciousness of God and my susceptibility to fall diminishes. Every fault or crack in this building called ‘ME’ is mended as I pray. This is the work of the Holy Spirit in my life and the thought of this only establishes another nomenclature, ‘HOLY SPIRIT MY BUILDER.
Genesis1:2:-And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Verse 31:-And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. A worthless, formless earth in a state of darkness and indistinguishable ruin was completely transformed to a Garden of Eden that even God in all of His beauty and splendor described as good and beautiful only because the Spirit of God moved upon the earth. The moving of the Spirit culminated in the release of the Word ‘Let there be Light’ which eventually lead to the transformation. The Hebrew synonym of the word moved is brood, meaning to bring warmth as a mother hen sits upon her nest. This warmth awakens the life inside the egg and stirs its desire to break forth. Life is present but the shell must be broken. This is called breakthrough. When we allow the Holy Spirit in us to brood over our life, it causes a transformation that is manifested both in us and through us. To be transformed means to be changed (Metamorphose). The spirit of God sets the stage for the transformation via the word of God, He set the stage for your miracle and for your breakthrough all via the word. So no Spirit no word, no transformation and that’s why I tagged Him HOLY SPIRIT MY TRANSFORMER.
Now these are my revelations of Him and so I call him Holy Spirit my Navigator, my Connector, my Builder and my Transformer. So tell me, what do you call Him?
