Walking in the GLORY!

Isaiah 60:1-2 “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”

I deem it necessary to start by first defining what glory is and its meaning from a scriptural point of view so that you may appreciate and understand it better.

What is glory? The Hebrew word for glory is Kabowd – meaning splendour, copiousness, honour, rich, to make weighty, make heavy, abounding with, make glorious, noble, prevail, promote.

This implies that we will experience weighty splendour and honour. We will be promoted and become nobles, and prevail and abound in every good thing. That’s what glory means. God has decided to trade His glory for your shame, trade your pain for His health and your lack for His plenty. You shall not be called forsaken or forgotten but you shall be God’s chosen person.

I want you to begin to align your mind and mark your consciousness to the manifestation of God’s Glory in your life, home, business, career, relationship, education etc. And see yourself soar above the limits that life places on people that don’t have the glory of God in their lives.

When the glory came the grave couldn’t hold Jesus in; the prison could not keep Paul and Silas; Lazarus came forth; the Red Sea parted; and there was no lack in the early church. Friend, the same God that brought these glories is our God, let’s brace up and begin to hunger and thirst for the manifestation of this glory. And right before our eyes we shall see spectacular miracles and so shall it be in Jesus’ mighty name!

The first step in the glory is to thirst for it. The psalmist says as the deer pants for water in the wilderness so does my soul long after you. I suggest that you begin to stir yourself up by praying in tongues and fasting if need be. Begin to desire the manifest presence of God in your life because God is about to do a quick work but He needs your cooperation. Remember the proof of desire is pursuit.
