Understanding divine abundance – Part 2
Psalm 35:27 – Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
Why does God want you to have abundance?
One of the major reasons why God wants you to live in abundance is to establish His covenant on earth. One of God’s covenants is for all around abundance for His people. So He has the responsibility to see to it that you and I live in abundance.
Another reason why God wants you to live in divine abundance is for the expansion of his kingdom on earth. Some of the vehicles for spreading the gospel are finance, healthy bodies, creative and stable minds. Zechariah 1:17 – Cry yet, saying, thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
God wants you to live in abundance so that the families of the earth will be blessed through you. Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.
God wants you to live in divine abundance because your prosperity brings Him pleasure. Your poverty gives God concern.
