Success Strategies Part 1

Proverbs 24:3-4 – Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches.

Warfare requires strategy and the path of success requires a skillful mindset for one to emerge a winner. Today, I will put into your hands some strategies that will guarantee your triumph. They are tried and tested and have worked wonders. And I believe they will work for you in Jesus’ mighty name!

Have a desire and a clear-cut goal

Proverbs 29:18

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he”

Friend, it is important for you to have specific clear-cut goals because vision and dreams are the language of the spirit. If you can envision your goal then you can birth the impossible. The purpose of the mind is for creativity so use it. The greatest nation is imagination. Watch your imagination because it can limit or release you into a world of wonders.

Have a workable Plan

Habakkuk 2:2

And the LORD answered me, and said, “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

The best place to start is at the beginning. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. So sit down to consider the pros and cons of your goals and objectives. Consult with people that have done it before and learn from people that are currently doing it. Don’t overestimate your ability and don’t underrate yourself. Find a balance and do a sincere and proper assessment of what you already have and what you need to add to what you have in order to achieve your desired outcome.

Set a deadline to achieve your goal

Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

For every plan there is a beginning and an ending. So it is important that you put a time limit on the achievement of your goals. The deadline helps you to do a re-appraisal, to crosscheck, and make adjustments where necessary. You know if you don’t have a finish line you will never know when and where to stop.

You may ask what f if I don’t achieve my goal within the set time? My advice to you is to reassess your goal and do a reset especially if it’s an essential life goal such as getting married, getting a job, degree, having children. This leads us to the next strategy: focus.
