Results of Partnership with the Holy Spirit
Romans 8:1-2 –There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
I have come to know from personal experience that when you live and walk under the supervision of the Holy Spirit, certain things will result.
When you start to walk with the Holy Spirit, you become a threat to and a target of the devil. He endeavours to attack you at every point and to frustrate you. That is what he did to Jesus after the Holy Spirit came upon Him and God approved Him at the River Jordan. From that moment onwards, the devil threw at Him all manner of temptations but thank God He won. In the same way, the devil will try all his best to frustrate and hinder you from making headway but guess what? You are more than a conqueror in Christ.
One of the things that the Holy Spirit does is to free us from guilt and condemnation. You will begin to operate at another level. The Holy Spirit corrects but never condemns you. From walking with the Holy Spirit, you will develop a sense of freedom, inner peace and satisfaction even in the midst of the greatest storm. One of the greatest proofs that you are hearing the voice of God is the unquantifiable peace that fills your heart.
Freedom from the cycle of sin and death, mentioned in the above scripture, is not a promise or a prophecy – it is a statement of fact. You are free from the bondage of sin and its conquering power. When you walk with the Holy Spirit, you become another person, both in your inner and outer being. While the inner change is instant, the outer change is progressive and continuous throughout your lifetime. You will always be improving as you continue to walk with the Holy Spirit.
Our manifestation and presentation on the world stage will only come to pass based on our partnership with the Holy Spirit. God has set out the pattern by which we are going to rise to the forefront through the Holy Spirit. While it is very good to wish for, desire and expect greatness. It is imperative that we do not forget that greatness will remain out of reach until we surrender totally and follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
Your future is greater than you imagine. Keep cultivating and building your relationship with the Holy Spirit and soon and very soon, there would come an outbreak of the anointing on you and in you.
