Galatians 2:20: ‘I was crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I that Live, but Christ that lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith of the son of God, who died and gave himself for me’

The world does not have much problems accepting that Jesus died and rose from the dead over 2000 years ago but the part they find difficult to comprehend is the fact that He is still alive till today working miracles and healing people. Christ may not physically appear to such people like he did to the disciples, but He dwells in his people so that the world can see and experience His manifestation when they come in contact with you and I being carriers of His person., but we need to be more conscious of this and let our light so shine that men may see.

2 Corinthians 5: 18 (NIV): ‘And all this is from of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sin against them and has committed to us the message of reconciliation’

Christ was able to fulfill his ministry on earth because God was in Him reconciling the world to himself. The initial purpose of God for creating mankind was to be fruitful, multiply replenish the earth with God’s kind of life and subdue it (Genesis 1:26) but Adam blew it but God restored this in Christ. He was at work in Jesus calling men to himself and now Christ is at work in us calling men to God. That is why we read in the above scripture that He has committed on to us the ministry of reconciliation.

The principal reason why Christ lives in us is to through us manifest himself to the world and win men back to God. Remember It’s the will of God that no man should perish bet for every man to come to the knowledge of the truth. This can only be fulfilled if we allow the Christ in us to manifest to the world. Christ as it were is crying within us calling men to come to God but this cry can only be heard if we give it a voice by telling the world about His love. Christ has invested in us a great deal, we need to carry this message to the outermost part of the world but first let us start from our Jerusalem and begin to preach the gospel of the kingdom.

When Jesus came to the scene in Luke 4:18, he said ‘the spirit of the Lord God is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor’ You also have been anointed to preach the gospel, you received the very life of God when you gave your life to Jesus and the anointing came on you when you got filled with the Holy spirit. All this investment must not be a waste, you need to wake up from your slumber and begin to declare the gospel to your world. Jesus commanded in Mark 16:15 that ‘Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature’. This is a great commission and we need to first fulfill this ministry if we expect to receive a ministry of our own.

Preach the word in season and out of season, let the cry of Christ be heard in you by giving it a voice, the bible says in Romans 10:14 ‘how will they call upon him, whom they have not believed, How will they believe on him whom they have not heard and how shall they hear without a preacher’. God has commissioned you to be the preacher and your responsibility is to carry the gospel to the world, there are people assigned to you that will not believe unless you preach to them. It’s time for you to wake up and allow the Christ in you to manifest to the world.
