Genesis 1:1-4

1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness

The giving nature of God for establishment of divine order was set in motion in the beginning when there was so much chaos and everything was in darkness. We need to realise that it is the nature of God to speak peace in the midst of the storms we face. We however must enter into the divine order that has been established so that all areas of our lives can work according to His divine will.

The plan of God for a bright future for us is clear in Jeremiah 29:11 where God clearly states His will for us is good and not evil; the enemy will however come to tempt and test us with challenging situations. We in turn who have an understanding that the nature of God is superior to darkness must in turn speak light to our circumstance to experience all round victory.

DOMINION

A dog will always bark, the lion will roar and the cock will crow; all because it is their nature. We are however made in the image of God so dominion is our nature. The nature of God is dominion and He has imparted that nature into us to overcome all obstacles on land, seas, air and in all the earth. This means no situation is supposed to overtake or overwhelm you when you walk in what you have received (dominion).

When a lion starts to mew like a cat and the dog bleats like a goat, then it is evident they do not know who they are. When you know who you are, you will know who you are not. The blessing of God to walk in dominion and for multiplication has been given to us because of the giving nature of God; it is time to walk in who we are.

LOVE
1 John 4:4-8

4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 7Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

When man fell in the garden of Eden through disobedience, he was stripped of all he had been given, hence he became naked and terror came upon him by the reason of the curse (Genesis 3:1-24). Man died a spiritual death which made him alienated from God. God’s nature which is Love has however been set in motion for as many as will receive Him.

God gave His son for the remission of our sins to give us eternal life and we can only partake of that nature when we also let go of our past, sins and confess Jesus as our Lord and personal saviour.

2 Peter 1:3-4

3as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,  4by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

We must understand salvation is a total package of redemption from sin and death and restoration of our blessing of dominion and multiplication.

Brethren what shows we are partakers of God’s giving nature is when we embrace His giving nature by also giving through Love.

He has giving us all things to us to enjoy; the gospel should be preached and the love of God shared.
