Material Protection

Malachi3: 10-12 – Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. 11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts; 12 “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts.

Proverbs 10:22 – The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.

From the above scriptures we can see that God not only blesses us but he also preserves and protects the blessings He gives us. The Bible says He makes the sun shine upon the good and the wicked so it is clear that God wants everybody to enjoy life in abundance to the full until it overflows.

The question now is how come not everybody is enjoying life to the full and some that used to enjoy life are no longer enjoying it? Furthermore, how come life is like a rollercoaster i.e. up and down? The reason for this is mostly ignorance of divine processes and operation. For example, God has given all of us the gift of life; it is now left to you to come under His leading and direction by giving your life to him. But most people just live their lives without taking cognisance of God, the giver of life.

This also applies to material blessings so many think it is by their might and power that they’ve got what have so they don’t dedicate their business, cars, jobs or material blessing to God. Consequently, they live a life of profit and loss. They get blessed and then they lose the blessing, why? Because God is excluded. One of the ways to exclude God from your finances is by not tithing and giving towards the course of the gospel.

The primary reason why God give us material blessing is to establish His covenant. And His covenant includes making you blessed to be a blessing, making you the head and not the tail and you in turn spreading his gospel to the ends of the earth by investing your gifts in cash and kind in His kingdom. Then you invoke heaven’s security system in your favour. Then you move from prosperity to preservation and prosperity.

Then God will send heaven’s angels to begin to patrol your properties, your finances, and all that belongs to you because your tithe puts the devourers in check and sends them far away from you in order for God to totally establish you without interruption.

So my question is, how secure are you materially? You can know how secure you are by checking if you tithe, give offering and support the course of the gospel, not by checking your bank statement. If you don’t tithe and are not supporting the course of the gospel as you ought to start now and see heaven’s angels begin to patrol and keep your goods safe and intact.
