Living the higher life through the eradication of mediocrity
Psalm 119:99-100 – I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
Friend, you may have been down for a period of time but you’re never out and victory is still within your reach in Jesus mighty name. As long as you are a willing learner you will rise above mediocrity. The need to have an unquenchable fire in your heart for improvement in every area of your life is key to the eradication of mediocrity.
When you make victory your only option excellence then dominion is certain. Mediocrity is a tyrant and you need to brace yourself up to subdue it. Many are within the grip of this tyrant and have given up on rising above it but your case is different. One of the reasons why many are still living in mediocrity is because they have more story and images of failure in their memory than of success.
This happens also because most of the people around them are in the same ditch and under the same limitation in one form or another. One of the ways to overcome limitation is to have a selective memory. By this I mean replaying the victories of the past to stimulate your creative thinking towards the opportunities that lie ahead. Selective thinking is to choose your thought patterns and not allow your mind to go off track.
Please be aware that mediocrity starts and ends in the mind, so also does excellence. The mind is the greatest battlefield and the devil specialises in playing mind-games but thank God we are above his games because we have the mind of Christ. We have a superior mind because the Holy Spirit constantly breathes life into it and as a result our minds become energised with divine virtue and abilities. You are made for the top so be top minded and take necessary actions to walk in your inheritance.
