Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

Greatness also implies a well-heightened capacity to intelligently bring about a positive outcome through the understanding given by the inspiration of the Most High.

Job 32:8 …But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Greatness is possessing the ability to do unimaginable exploits holding on to the power from above for whatever you get from above keeps you above all.

John 19:11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

Experiencing abundance beyond measure is God’s ultimate intention for every believer who will abide by His guidance.

Greatness from God is a reward for obedience to God’s declaration. Genesis 15:1-7   After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.” 2 ¶ But Abram said, “O Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, for I continue childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 And Abram said, “Behold, thou hast given me no offspring; and a slave born in my house will be my heir.” 4 And behold, the word of the LORD came to him, “This man shall not be your heir; your own son shall be your heir.”5 And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”  6 And he believed the LORD; and he reckoned it to him as righteousness.  7 And he said to him, “I am the LORD who brought you from Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to possess.” (RSV)

God has great intentions beyond man’s imaginations. The get-through-life plan of God for man is greatness.

When you wholeheartedly honour God by facing Him with a side of your genuine obedience in the right motive, following through with Him to His desired expectation, God will ‘flaunt’ His uncommon goodness in your life.

Greatness mostly is a process that involves a good level of sacrifice that is directed towards a particular purpose or end. As long as God is the one in control of your life, a safe landing in the ‘territory of plenty’ is guaranteed. In other words, greatness cannot be excluded if ‘whatever’ is by God.

At a point, it appeared to Abram as if God was not doing anything about his case, but God re-assured him giving him the fact  that His (God’s) intention superseded his (Abram’s) miniature desire.

God is synonymous to greatness.

Going through the whole of the Bible, one will discover that God is immeasurably expressed in greatness in all of His endeavours. Super-abundance is with Him and whomsoever He draws to Himself, He does so to express His own characters and superfluity (excessive quantity) in such a vessel. He told Abraham,

Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

But before then He said, in verse 1,

“Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.

Greatness is all about God’s revelation to you. If God doesn’t show you, you will not be able to achieve it yourself, and you know what God does is forever. So, for God to show you, you have to go from your country, your kindred and even your father’s house. These simply imply your areas of comfortability that keep you from the reach of God’s greatness.

Of course, there are many ways to greatness according to the secular system, but for one to experience greatness that is of God which is the only one without sorrow, God consciousness is extremely paramount! God must be the centre and his motive according to His purpose must be sought after. Grow through the process and enjoy God’s greatness!
