MAY 20

John 11:41-43
Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. (John 11:41-43 KJV)

Thanksgiving requires knowing who He is and who you are in Him, hence we won’t be mindful of the limitations of where we are but much of where He is taking us to. In the scripture above, Jesus was at the tomb of a dead situation and what many will consider impossible. Yes, you too might be facing some financial struggles, having health challenges, struggling with a personal addiction or that of a loved one. It might seem logical to give up and give in; but hold on a minute, Jesus gave thanks before Lazarus was raised. You might say but He is the Son of God. yes, He is but so are you as a born again Christian. You have the same relationship of son ship; Hallelujah! You are a son and daughter of God. Jesus had absolute confidence and trust in the ability of His Father.
His confidence is based on relationship; after all, a son knows the ability of his father. The scriptures declare they that know their God will be strong and do exploits.

Friend, Your confidence to give thanks in everything will be based on
your fellowship and trust in the Father. Fellowship with Him is crucial as you are able to see the deep things of God by the help of the Holy Spirit. You get know about the unfailing Love of God as your father and His almightiness as your God. Knowing Him gives you confidence and builds trust in Him for your testimony because you know He always hears you. Jesus called Lazarus forth from the tomb and Lazarus came forth.
With a heart of gratitude to God, be thankful because it will end in praise. I see your victory manifest in Jesus name.
