Psalm 51:15 – O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
Faith confession is intentional. You have to fashion your words correctly in order to create the kind of life you want. Mark 11:23, says ‘you shall have what you say’ therefore say want you want and see it come to pass. Unfortunately, most people say only what they are going through so what they are going through remains. You cannot call the cat and have the dog.
One major way to make scriptures effective in your life is by personalising them and making them into daily confessions. You know champions are not born, they are made daily. Your daily confession determines your permanent outcomes in life. You know what you say longest becomes strongest in your life.
Friends, I can tell you from experience that you can truly have what you say and our words rule us. By your words you are justified and by your words you are condemned. Years ago, I discovered that if I pray God’s word back to Him, I would be praying perfectly. The devil would not be able to resist me and God would never refuse His own words. I therefore, cultivated the habit of praying God’s word in faith on every issue in my life. In Matthew 24:35, God’s word says Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. So as long as I speak God’s word in faith my words will come to pass.
