God led Service – The Pathway to Supernatural Returns

Exodus 23:25-26 –And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and He shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Friend, everybody is serving in one capacity or another but not all services rendered are with the right motive. Some people are doing the right thing but at the wrong place. For example, Jonah was travelling but in the wrong direction. God needed his service at Nineveh but he was heading to Tarshish. Some are doing it grudgingly and complaining so they have no reward for their service.

There is a pattern, manner and place of service that God has apportioned to all of us and we must be very conscious of that. Paul said, “I have not disobeyed the heavenly vision”. God has given us a vision and a place to carry out the vision. He has also made it clear to us the kind of attitude with which he wants us to carry our respective duties.

It is important we do God’s work, God’s way or else we will rob ourselves of the returns He has put in place for us. God has not told you to seek Him in vain – there is a blessing attached. I have observed that every time God tells me to do something for Him, it is because He is setting me up for promotion and another level of glory. So start by being sure of what God wants you to do and how He wants you to do it and equally important is where He wants you to do Him service.

In this ministry God leads us through His Spirit to give responsibilities to people but the quality of their service depends on each individual. Consequently, each person writes their cheque with God by reason of their service.

I have met people that complain that God is not showing up for them only to discover that they are actually not doing what He commands. They are only doing what they themselves deem fit. They are self-led and not God-led.

My question to you today is in what capacity are you serving God or are you not serving God at all? If you are not serving God at present, get up and use your gift and ability to the glory of God. If you are already serving God, are you bringing pleasure through your service to God and the people you are working under and with? If not, make a change and begin again by making your service God-led.
