Christ Living In You – The Essence

Galatians 2:20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Revealing Jesus Christ the anointed one and His anointing as the burden remover and yoke destroyer is the hallmark of my calling and God given assignment. Without Christ in us we are mere and ordinary humans but with Christ living in us we become supernatural and extraordinary. We can no longer be taken lightly or for granted because we have the ultimate power and the very force of all life resident in our spirit.

From the above scripture we can see that when Christ starts living in an ordinary man that person is given the faith of Christ to do the works of Christ and live like Him. Jesus clearly said we will do the same works He did and even greater works than He did. That could only be possible if we have His kind of faith and life at our disposal and I’m glad to say we do. Someone may ask are you now saying you are Jesus Christ on earth. My answer is ‘yes’ and no’. ‘Yes’, because He lives inside me and carries out His assignment on earth today through me and anyone who will allow Him to work through them. And, ‘no’ because I am not the one who died for you but He decided to live in me and allow me the privilege of bearing His name and taking credit for all He achieved. That is what grace is all about.

When Christ lives in you, you no longer have ordinary human blood but Christ’s divine royal blood running through your veins and what cannot befall the resurrected Christ cannot befall you. The devil may try to put things on you but you should resist it in Jesus’ name. You are royalty and where the word of a king is, there is power and no devil can mess with your orders.

You are a priest after the order of Jesus Christ. You are to bring praises and glory to God. Out of your belly should flow rivers of living water. God should find expression on this earth through you because Christ lives in you. You are heaven’s agent in this world sent as a deliverer and a victor, not a victim. It’s an abuse for a Christian to be bound and beaten by the beggarly elements of this world. It’s a slap on redemption. In the Bible days when the king and the people were confused and confronted with impossible problems they called the priest for divine answers. Friend, because Christ lives inside us we have divine answers.

We need to start to see ourselves as God sees us and not as men do. Call yourself what the Bible calls you, not what the world system or the devil calls you. I pray that you will rise to your God given position in the affairs of life. I see the favour of Christ envelope you and create more room for you in all your ways. Amen!
