Building your Belief System in the Name of Jesus

Acts 3:16 – And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith, which comes through Him, has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

We are all products of the decisions that we have made; that’s the way God made life. Everyone will eat of the fruit of their doing. Some of the things that influence our belief systems include the environment we live in, the books we read, the company we keep and the figures of authority in our lives.

The bible says that he that walks with the wise shall become wise but the companion of fools shall be destroyed. Therefore, it is important to make a personal quality decision regarding the choice of books you read, your associates and the environment that you locate yourself in. All of these will impact on your belief system in power and might in the name of the Jesus. If you keep fellowshipping with people and reading books that portray the name of Jesus casually and powerlessly, the name will not produce for you. Therefore be selective in what you listen to, meditate on and who/what you surround yourself with because what you look at longest become strongest in your heart.

After you have chosen your path in life, you need to back your decision up with the right actions and attitude. You need to research scriptures that specifically focus on the power and might in the name of Jesus. Read them, meditate on them, believe them, say them and imagine them at work for you. Start to use the name of Jesus in every area of your life. Bless your food in the name of Jesus, bless your wife, your children and all that is yours in the name of Jesus and never get tired of doing it. Before long, your entire being will start to respond to situations the way Jesus Christ would and you will begin to attract different results and attention into your life. Remember, when a person’s belief system changes, his behavior changes and then his/her status and results change accordingly.

You are destined for greatness but your choices and decisions determine the attainment of your greatness. Every hour contains a blessing but your choices will determine if you will get the blessing or not. Your choices are influenced by your belief system. Change your belief system to Jesus’ belief system and nothing will be impossible to you.
